If you have ever seen a mother Humpback Whale swimming in the wild with her calf, you already know it’s the experience of a lifetime! If you haven’t seen this, then Panama, specifically the Chiriqui Gulf is one of the only places in the world blessed with Humpback whale migrations from both the southern and northern hemispheres.

Whale watching is a seasonal activity, but if you schedule your trip between July and October, chances are very good that you will see one of the thousands of ‘humpbacks’ that come to Panama to breed and give birth. Our boat captains are very experienced in delighting our clients with this special viewing privilege and you can be assured that you will never get closer to this amazing animal than you will with us here at Seagull Cove Resort.
